As a part of their mandate, Venn regrouped some of the most up and coming finance technology firms in Atlantic Canada to attend the Money 2020 conference in Las Vegas. Their goal was to expose the world of finance technology to Atlantic Canadian companies and to attract global investors to the region.
Venn mandated us to develop a brochure-type of document to display the corporate profiles of each participating company. However, we soon realized that a simple brochure wouldn’t help the group of companies stand out at one of the world’s most attended technology trade show. With over 3,400 participating companies and giants like Google, IBM, Deloitte and, PayPal at the table, we knew that standing out would be an incredible challenge for our local Atlantic Canadian firms.
As a solution, we went on to create a whole brand identity & system which truly represented the vibrancy of our region and the opportunities it offered. To do so, we developed a trademark symbol that, at first glance, looked like a lighthouse but also included elements representing technology and finance.
Following the development of the Atlantic Fintech Trademark, we developed a whole system of touchpoints for potential investors and partners to interact with. These touch points included the brochure, a website, a pull-up banner, tent cards and t-shirts.
Their goal was to expose the world of finance technology to Atlantic Canadian companies and to attract global investors to our region. We did this with a n extensive social media and digital marketing campaign which ran for 3 full weeks with great results.
